FINALS
ORBIT NE
At the conclusion of the season, the Head-2-Head Season 3 Awards were announced. Topics from the usual H2H MVP and Best Park of the Year to the dreaded Most Disappointing Parkmaker and Worst Park Period were included, and some of the results included some interesting surprises.

Here's a recap of the winners and the results.

MOST VALUABLE PARKMAKER
Practically self explanatory, this award goes to the best parkmaker of the season. Typically, players with good records qualify, but after that, it's up to the voters to decide who they felt performed best over the year.
1. Corkscrewed
2. x-sector
3. ride6
4. CoasterEd
5. Kumba
6. Blitz

PARK OF THE YEAR
The award that goes to the best park of the year, or perhaps the most popular... There were several candidates this year, each very deserving. However, if there was one park that swept everyone off his feet and had people buzzing for weeks, it was our winner...
1. Ghost Cell Crisis, by Blitz & DarkJanus
2. Aviara Cove, by Corkscrewed & Kumba
3. Gotheburg, by metalface (slob)
4. Cajamarca 1532, by CoasterEd and tracidEdge
5. Venetian Harbour, by John
6. Disastrous Paradise, by x-sector & jon

BEST LL PARK
Because all the Park of the Year nominees were RCT 2 creations, we felt a category to celebrate the LL works was needed.  That and there was no way CoasterEd could not go home without an award!
1. Cajamarca 1532, by CoasterEd & tracidEdge
2. Symphony of Pollution, by Gutterflower & Thorpedo
3. Hansen, by rctfreak2000 & Loopy
4. Kihme Research Facility, by Twisted & Micool
5. The Tissot Archepelago, by Natelox & Gutterflower
6. Space Lake River Shrine, by MightyMouse & spiderman

BEST MATCHUP
We had several extreme close match-ups this year that featured narrow vote counts, incredibly skilled parks by both teams, or both! Two of these involved Metalface alone, but did he win the Best Matchup category... no.
1. Ghost Cell Crisis vs Cajamarca 1532
2. The Faraway Tree vs Gotheberg
3. The Pyramid Connection vs The Day After Tomorrowland
4. Sierra Glen vs Symphony of Pollution
5. Eternal City Springs vs Artesian Water Works
6. Cliffs of Utopia vs La Borranca Roja Grande

CAPTAIN OF THE YEAR
Though the award typically goes to the captain of the championship team, this award is not always guaranteed.  This year's close vote reflected that sentiment, but in the end, the winner was indeed the captain of the Flying Germans:
1. posix
2. Kumba
3. Gymkid Dude
4. Themeparkmaster
5. Chapelz
6. Evil WME

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
This award is for the best parkmaker who did not participate in H2H during the previous season. This means he did not have a park featured in a matchup. As a result, many well-known names qualified under the technicality. The winner... Mr. Cursed himself!
1. Metalface (slob)
2. ride6
3. JKay
4. Blitz
5. John
6. Kumba

SLEEPER OF THE YEAR
For the lesser known names of the competition, this award is aimed at that parkmaker who basically came out of nowhere to surprising post some quality work and help his team.
1. Splash-O
2. Six Frags
3. Magnus
4. Drew
5. Loopy
6. Raven-SDI

BEST WOODEN COASTER
It's quite simple really... out of all the wooden coasters in this year's H2H parks, which one was the best? And as it turned out, with a landslide victory, the voters decided that the best woodie was clearly:
1. "Caesus" by Evil WME (God's Isle)
2. "Lush Valley Roar" by Valp (Cliffs of Utopia)
3. "Dragon Rider" by ride6 (The Pyramid Connection)
4. "Echo" by Panic & Natelox (Excavation de la Forclaz)
5. "Anaconda" by Steve (Malaria)
6. "Tantrum" by Drew (La Barranca Roja Grande)

BEST STEEL COASTER
Steel coaster exist too, and this award goes to the best steel roller coaster found in any of this year's H2H parks.
1. "Das Duell" by metalface (Gotheberg)
2. "Peregrin" by metalface (Sierra Glen)
3. "Collision Course" by CoasterEd (Cajamarca1532)
4. "Pandemonium" by Blitz (Ghost Cell Crisis)
5. "Halotosis" by Titan (Artesian Well Waterworks)
6. "Alphavore/Omegavore" by Evil WME (Outpost Prehistorica)

BEST NON-COASTER
Finally, for adventure rides or water rides or any other significant track ride that isn't technically a roller coaster, this award is for the best of those types.
1. "Apocalypse Plunge" by Corkscrewed (Aviara Cove)
2. "The Flood" by x-sector (Disastrous Paradise)
3. "Escape from Rockwood Prison" by Corkscrewed (Escape from Rockwood Prison)
4. "Chaos Karts" by MindBender5 & rctfan1556 (Go Kart Chaos)
5. "Lotic Waters" by JKay, (Artesian Well Waterworks)
6. "Drive-By Practice" by JKay & Raven-SDI (Rapper's Delite)

BEST CHEMISTRY
H2H parks are meant to be partner parks... but a great creation will be hard to categorize into who made what. This award celebrates the park whose teamwork made it essentially impossible to tell which parkmaker made which amazing part of the map.
1. Blitz & DarkJanus in Ghost Cell Crisis
2. Metalface (slob) & Drew in Sierra Glen
3. X250 & leighx in Xenon
4. Evil WME & Magnus in God's Isle
5. Splash-O & Valp in Cliffs of Utopia
6. rctfreak2000 & Loopy in Hansen

WORST CHEMISTRY
Of course, sometimes, styles clash, theming collapses, and the little peeps start to cry. This award goes to the most agonizingly chaotic park of the year, where it was either obvious who made what... or the teamwork just really didn't come together at all.
1. Kumba & Jacko Shanty in The Day After Tomorrowland
2. Raven-SDI & super rich in Strange Happenings in Time
3. Metropole & Outlaw in Kierkkengord Castle
4. MindBender5 & Valp in Monopoly Tycoon
5. CedarPoint6 & Inversed in Mysterious Forests
6. Turtle & muuuh in La Puerta del Atlantia

BEST LOSING PARK
Very often this year, two very good parks met each other, and one of them lost. It's a shame that it did have to lose, but six of the losers had a chance to become winners. Of course, there was never really any doubt, and even though the other five parks were quite impressive works themselves, the winner was obviously:
1. Cajamarca 1532, by CoasterEd & tracidEdge
2. Gotheberg, by Metalface (slob)
3. Outpost Prehistorica, by Evil WME & Phatage
4. Artesian Well Waterworks, by JKay & Titan
5. The Day After Tomorrowland, by Kumba & Jacko Shanty
6. Hotel of Horrors (Under Construction), by Phatage & Anolis

WORST WINNING PARK
On the other hand, sometimes a park that has no business anywhere near the winner's circle ends up sneaking in. This year, that park was one that won on a technicality. But other than that, it was quite literally feces...
1. Strange Happenings in Time, by Raven-SDI & super rich
2. The Boardwalk, by Steve & Geoff
3. Go Kart Chaos, by MindBender5 & rctfan1556
4. Rainbow Valley, by Master Jay
5. Aquatica, by CoasterEd & Hevydevy
6. Paradise Island, by richie & OhioCoasteRFreak36

WORST PARK OF THE YEAR
This really isn't something to be proud of winning. Most people would say it's crap. This year, they'd be quite correct.
1. Strange Happenings in Time, by Raven-SDI & super rich
2. Mysterious Forests, by CedarPoint6 & Inversed
3. Area 51, by Disneylandian192 & rctfan1556
4. Monopoly Tycoon, by MindBender5 & Valp
5. Blossom Springs, by spiderman & Loopy
6. La Puerta del Atlantia, by Turtle & muuuh

MOST DISAPPOINTING PARKMAKER
High expectations for these parkmakers ended up being unfulfilled. Perhaps it was just not being able to deal with deadlines, or maybe it was just sheer laziness. In any case, these guys were expected to make some great things before the season. Unfortunately, they didn't. The one who apparently did not the most? None other than:
1. Jacko Shanty
2. natelox
3. Metropole
4. Turtle
5. Phatage
6. Gymkid Dude

THE GOOD IDEA GONE BAD AWARD
Even the best ideas in the world won't amount to anything if they aren't translated well into parks. And so, we have an award that celebrates parks with great premises... and absolutely pitiful execution.
1. The Cave, by Gymkid Dude & Old Red
2. Star Wars Death Star Assault, by ride6 & jon
3. The Day After Tomorrowland, by Kumba & Jacko Shanty
4. Hotel of Horrors (Under Construction), by Phatage & Anolis
5. Monopoly Tycoon, by MindBender5 & Valp
6. Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, by Jacko Shanty & RCTNW

BIGGEST NEWS ITEM
Finally, there were plenty of big news items this year and plenty of events that caused excitement, outcry, and controversy. Yet, perhaps the one that affected things the most was:
1. Iris and Toon Leave the IIIcons
2. Two Bedroom Parks Released on the Same Week
3. Sierra Glen and Symphony of Pollution Record First-Ever H2H Tie
4. yyo Becomes the First Person to Ever Get Disqualifed
5. Slob Becomes Cursed
6. Turtle and muuuh Cost Their Team Two Losses... Neither by Vote
