Imagine the NCAA's March Madness transformed into an RCT contest. That is the essence of Quest for the Best: Xtreme, the innovative brainchild competition from Iris that has run the course of several months, given the opportunity for many parkmakers to unveil exciting park and ride concepts, and provided numerous upsets and exciting matchups.

Basically, there are four brackets housing 16 participants each, for a total of 64. Three of them are strictly for RCT 2, while the remaining one is devoted to RCT 1 work. Players are initially seeded based on skill, then matched up against each other in a single elimination tournament until one winner remains. That winner not only gains instant recognition in RCT history as a legendary player, having gone through this tough gauntlet that requires both skill and time management, but also receives a cash prize that he, himself, determines!

Here's how the money issue works: Everyone begins at zero, and each victory nets $10. An additional win of a "Best of Category" vote can earn an additional $5, meaning the maximum winnings can total $15 a round, for a total max prize of up to $90! The catch, however, is that upon losing, a player forfeits his winnings. Thus, only one person can claim the cash prize.

The current moneyboard looks like this:

  • JACKO SHANTY $55
  • NATELOX $55
  • CORKSCREWED $50
  • JKAY $50
